Gearbox is saying goodbye to Battleborn’s lead writer. Aaron Linde, whose comedic stylings are a large part of the Battleborn single player experience, has announced that this is his last week at the studio.[Excerpt]
In a pair of tweets, Linde expresses his pride and also indicates that his new opportunity will take him to the Pacific Northwest. With a number of studios in the Seattle area, it’s hard to guess where he might be heading.
Got some news, fellas! Tomorrow's my last day at Gearbox. Absolutely love this team and am incredibly proud of the work we did together.

Our Take
While Battleborn might not be doing quite as well as another shooter with colorful characters, its writing captures the Gearbox style that fans enjoy. I’m interested to see where he ends up.
