Bethesda is currently working on bringing one of the biggest games in history, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, to today’s generation of consoles.

In a recent interview with IGN, Bethesda’s VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines spoke about the development team’s goal to make The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition as improved and “as next-gen and appropriate for these consoles as possible.”

“We haven’t really gotten into the full, ‘Here’s all the things that we’re doing,’ but the basic idea is, in all the ways possible we’re trying to improve it and make it as next-gen and appropriate for these consoles as possible. So, performance, or effects, or whatever we can do to make the game look and feel better, we’re going to give it a go.”

When asked a couple of days ago on Twitter about load times, he replied that neither he or the team has been timing and comparing loading times.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition releases on October 28th.
