The Overwatch beta has been a rousing success this weekend, whether you quantify said success by the "millions" that played (enough to extend the open beta by a day) or just by how painfully everyone is ignoring Battleborn, which actually just launched. Heck, I even made a Battle.net account to try it, and it's pretty good.

But what about other metrics of success? Well, Pornhub Insights explains that as the shooter, which has been described as Team Fortress 2 with waifus, launched its beta on May 5, Pornhub saw 817% growth in Overwatch-related porn searches.

Pornhub, I am told, is a website that focuses on adult video content -- and apparently it's not the only one, so it's hard to track total rising interest in Overwatch porn, but it is amusing to consider nonetheless. The top search term, "Overwatch Tracer" tracks with Blizzard recently amending a pose by the character, replacing a generically sexy stance with a still-sexy pose that carried more personality and bubbly exuberance. Plus, remember that amazingly good Korean Tracer cosplay?

"Overwatch futa" comes in third, referring to hentai wherein the sexy women also have giant cocks.

None of this is as informative as you might expect it to be when it comes to us, good 'ol red-blooded Americans. The top countries searching for that hot Overwatch nice nice are South Korea, Belarus, Russia, and Poland. The United States doesn't even make the top 12. Regardless of source or audience, I've already stumbled on Widowmaker fucking like three different Overwatch characters -- all women -- on the first page of a simple Google image search ("widowmaker overwatch") trying to wrangle a header image for this post.
